Tune into the Community Channel (channel 9)
The next time you are looking for something to do, check out NVC's Community Channel (channel 9)! This channel advertises local events being held in towns throughout NVC's service area. Your cooperative offers two free weeks of advertising per year for any non-profit organization (churches, community service groups, etc), so if your organization has an event they would like to add on the channel please contact Stacy Oliver at 725-1000 or email her here.
Schools can also take advantage of free advertising by announcing upcoming meetings and concerts. The basic rule of thumb for free advertising is "if you don't charge for the event, we won't charge for the ad."
Businesses and other organizations can also take advantage of the Community Channel. Whether you'd like to advertise your church's pancake feed, your unused treadmill, or to simply send birthday wishes, the Community Channel is a very economical way to reach your audience several times a day with your message.
Limited commercial ad spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and are priced as follows:
1 week - $50
2 weeks - $80
1 month - $120
Less than 1 week - $20 set-up fee plus $5 per day
Annual Contract - $730 ($60.83/monthly) plus a $5 charge each time the advertisement is changed.
